One of five founders that established a group of 330 predominantly African Americans in the twin cities who formed investment groups for the purpose of creating an economic tool in Minnesota. In 1997 we opened Snoodles Restrauant at 1400 Nicollet Ave. , Minneapolis.  The first African American owned restaurant in downtown Minneapolis.

New Beginning Center. Job Service Coordinator – 1982 – 1989. Oriented clients to job service program. Provided one on one counseling on issues related to chemical dependency, domestic abuse and financial management. Delivered presentations to community agencies in support of the program. Assisted fund raising and promotional efforts. Worked collaboratively with the St. Paul Urban League to administer a Seniors Program; established and maintained a Food Shelf and coordinated volunteer involvement in holiday activities and other special events.
